Beijing Olympics a visual feast…for those with HD

I must take note that this Olympics is the first one that is offered on HDTV for the American viewers, and thus is a fantastic visual feast for those watching at home. Since this Olympics is so sanitized and lack the sincere and cozy festive atmosphere, I suspect that this is THE Olympics which at-home spectators, in front of their 1080p HDTV sets, gained much more pleasures than those watching from the stands.

Started that HD experience was the opening ceremony directed by a movie director, in which cutting-edge multimedia techonology (think of that LED screen) was put to good use.

This is one Olympics that will generate considerable revenue selling DVDs and Blu-rays
